Tested-Good for 2.4KV per NEC

Flat 5000v submersible pump cable with cross-linked XLPE insulated circuit and grounding conductors and an overall PVC jacket. Tested and rated for up to 2.4kV per NEC. Suitable for use within well casings for wiring deep-well submersible water pumps.

Conductors: Class B (7 strand), soft drawn, bare copper per ASTM B3 and ASTM B8.

Conductor Shield: 5 mil thick semi-conducting tape longitudinally applied over the conductor in accordance with the requirements of UL 1072.

Insulation: Heat and moisture resistant, crosslinked thermosetting polyethylene meeting the requirements of UL 1072 for 5000 Volt rated cables. The insulation thickness is in accordance with Table 13.2 of UL 1072.

Ground Conductor: Class B (7 strand), soft drawn, bare copper per ASTM B3 and ASTM B8. The conductor is fully insulated with XLPE and the nominal overall diameter shall equal the insulated circuit conductors.

Assembly: The insulated circuit conductors and one insulated grounding conductor are laid flat and parallel together. The jacket will be applied directly over the insulated conductors.

Grounding Conductor – GREEN

Jacket: Heat and moisture resistant, black polyvinyl chloride meeting the requirements of UL 1072. The thickness is in accordance with Table 25.15 of UL 1072.

Identification: The overall jacket will have the following information printed: PAIGE ELECTRIC FLAT PUMP CABLE “number & size of conductor” XLP 5KV “ground conductor size” GRND 90˚C WET OR DRY (UL) E#XXXXX.
